Let me introduce myself

Hello!

Hi, I'm Josh.

I've been a photographer for over 10 years and hold both a BA and a Master's degree in Photography. My studies helped shape the way I see the world, finding beauty in the everyday and capturing genuine moments as they unfold.

Alongside wedding photography, I'm a practising visual artist whose work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally. Exploring landscapes, architecture, people, and places has influenced my documentary approach and the way I tell each couple's story.

When I'm not photographing weddings, I’m a photography lecturer at two UK universities, where I get to teach what I love to the next generation of photographers.

The important bits:

My black cat is named after Siegfried, the top vet from All Creatures Great and Small.

My sacred place is the field behind my parents’ house in Derbyshire - I love catching the morning mist when I’m visiting during the winter months.

My favourite analogy for life is that of a pilgrimage – we are always moving towards something, encountering the unexpected moments and experiences that shape our journey along the way.

The Heart of My Work

Life never stands still. People grow, moments pass, and memories gently fade with time.

Photography gives us the rare chance to hold onto what matters most. It's a way of preserving not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt – the laughter, the tears, the quiet glances, and the people who shared it with you.

Years from now, these photographs will become part of your family's story.
They'll be revisited, cherished, and passed down, allowing future generations to experience a small piece of the day that changed everything.
